HOME WORK POLICY

You will find daily homework assignments on this page.
They will typically be practice work for spelling, vocabulary and grammar. These assignments are most often (but not always) graded according to effort. These assignments are weighted at 10% of your ELA grade.
You will also be expected to work on some graded assignments at home. These assignments are typically writing projects that have been started in school such as poetry, and short compositions and considered final projects. You will also be assigned book reports and reviews throughout the year. These assignments will be graded at a higher weight than practice work depending on the extent of the concepts covered.
