- Write your rough draft--due tomorrow, Wednesday.
Wednesday
Reading: A.R. tests tomorrow for your classroom novel.
Writing:
- Grammar--Worksheet
- Grammar--Quiz on subject/verb agreement
Thursday
Reading:
- Read the worksheet which includes 1. directions, 2. rubric, 3. explanation of your 'universal book report.'
- Be sure you understand what is expected of you.
- Fill in the blanks on the top of the page.
- Due Monday.
- Do not start your book report.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day--No school
Wednesday:
Spelling: 3 day week--No Spelling
Writing:
- Final draft of your Arsenic and Old Lace scene is due when you walk in to class tomorrow.
- Be sure your rubric/checklist is completed.
- Be sure you have an effective graphic organizer.
- Rough draft and rubric are due for Where I'm From poem. (to be completed in class on Thursday)
Reading: (Due Friday.)
- Read the rest of your novel by Friday: Letters From Rifka and Gilly.
- Read up to P 160: Island of the Blue Dolphins and The Wish Giver.
- Take notes for your 'job' as you go.

- If you were Passage Picker you are now Discussion Director.
- If you were Discussion Director you are now Connector.
- If you were Connector you are now Summarizer.
- If you were Summarizer you are now Word Finder.
- If you were Word finder you are now Passage Picker.
